Our Organization
The American Red Cross of Central New Jersey serves the people of Mercer, Middlesex, Hunterdon, and Somerset counties, helping the community prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. This Red Cross chapter provides emergency relief for disaster victims; lifesaving health and safety training, including First Aid and CPR; safe blood collection from voluntary donors; and meal delivery for the homebound and elderly.
Our local chapter, the American Red Cross of Central New Jersey, has 2,515 volunteers and 1,710 youth club members who serve the community at large. In addition, over 50,000 individuals are trained for CPR and other lifesaving skills. The American Red Cross is a beneficent organization which provides relief and assistance for everyone.

Our Youth Council
The American Red Cross of Central New Jersey's Youth Council is made up of high school students from Red Cross clubs from all over the central Jersey area. It is most known for its annual fundraiser event, Dance-A-Thon. This event is aimed at raising money to support many of the local chapter's programs and the Measles Initiative.
The group also hosts restaurant fundraisers and promotes other activities such as Blizzard Bags, preparing food packages for the elderly, and Adopt-a-Unit, making care packages to bring holiday cheer to soldiers overseas. The Youth Council educates and encourages the involvement of all Red Cross volunteers in various community programs to make a difference in our community.
