President: Nikhil Parvathala

Nikhil has been involved with the Youth Council since his sophomore year and is proud to be the President of the American Red Cross of Central NJ Youth Council this year. Nikhil actively volunteers with the Red Cross because he views the Youth Council as a powerful medium that allows youth to collaborate and coordinate various events such as fundraisers and safety programs that benefit the community and carry out the mission and purpose of the Red Cross.
In addition to being a member of the Youth Council, Nikhil plays tennis for the South Brunswick High School team and enjoys playing piano in his free time. He is especially interested in Finance and wishes to work in financial consulting in the future. Along with volunteering with the Red Cross, Nikhil volunteers with the New Brunswick Children's Specialized Hospital and the Kendall Park EMT First Aid & Rescue Squad.

A senior at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South, Krittika has been actively involved with the Red Cross since her freshman year. She is now the Vice President of the Red Cross Youth Council of Central NJ and the President of the Red Cross Club at South. She is really passionate about Red Cross because of the impact it has not only on people in her own community, but on people around the world. This organization has given her the opportunity to work with others and really help a range of people, whether it's the children that are educated through one of the many safety programs, or the veterans overseas that receive Red Cross care packages.
In addition to Red Cross, Krittika volunteers in the Critical Care Unit at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro and is a part of the Varsity golf team at South. She also loves traveling and writing. Outside of school, she enjoys listening to music, rock climbing, and spending time with friends/family.
